Fresh Sea Moss

From the Sea to Your Table
A Brief History of
Sea Moss
Interestingly, and perhaps inevitably, Sea Moss made its introduction into society during times of extreme hardship and illness.

Sea Moss has been used to naturally treat various ailments from as far back as 600 BC, but it wasn’t until the height of the Irish Potato Famine in the 1840s that its benefits became renowned.

This is when, as a result of repeated potato crop failures, the Irish population faced a long period of mass starvation and disease. They combed land and sea to find alternative food sources, and eventually discovered that this seaweed - known today as Sea Moss - was incredibly nutritious and palatable. However, once the famine subsided, its popularity declined.

Fortunately, Sea Moss has once again become a topic of interest, and is now cultivated by farmers and consumed worldwide for its various health benefits, which are positively unmatched.

It is rich in iodine, an essential micronutrient that supports a healthy immune system and thyroid function, contains live probiotics and a high fiber content - both essential for gut health, and other components that can help reduce cholesterol and lower blood pressure. Some people even use Sea Moss as a traditional fertility treatment. It makes a great addition to your favorite smoothie, or just eat it right from the jar!

At Three Vegan Soulz, we take pride in providing you with the very freshest Sea Moss on the planet. All of our Sea Moss is ethically sourced, additive-free, and fresh from the ocean; the literal definition of farm to table. We invite you to join our many satisfied customers in taking back your vitality today!

the little known treasure
Soursop
Soursop, aka custard apple, aka graviola, is a tropical fruit indigenous to the American tropics. Its rich history spans back to 1526, when it was one of the first fruit trees carried from the North American tropical regions across the Pacific and planted in southeastern China, Australia and the western shores of Africa. It has been regarded as a nutritional powerhouse and used in plant medicine for centuries.

Although popular for a variety of uses in some parts of the world, especially in the Caribbean and South America, you will likely not find this fruit on the shelves of your grocery store if you live stateside - except perhaps in some parts of Florida!

Harvested from the Annona Muricata tree, the fruit is characterized by a greenish-hue and prickly exterior, with a creamy flesh, similar to the texture of a banana. It smells like a pineapple and has a unique flavor profile often likened to a fusion of apple and strawberry, with subtle citrus notes.

The health benefits contained within essentially every part of this plant are vast and impressive. Its leaves, seeds, and stems contain antioxidants like annonacin, quercetin, and alkaloids, which are powerful anti-inflammatories, and other components such as ethanol, methanol, and chloroform have been shown to be cytotoxic to cancer cells.

Several scientific studies have demonstrated the ability of Soursop extract to kill blood cancer cells in test tubes, and a mountain of anecdotal evidence exists attesting to radical health transformations experienced by those who have regularly consumed Soursop.

Three Vegan Soulz sources Soursop leaves directly from tropical regions such as the Caribbean and Puerto Rico. The leaves are plucked straight from the plant and sent to us. We then dry them and package them, as always with NO additives or preservatives, and send them directly to you.

The most popular way to use our soursop is as a tea, but you are welcome to add it to another favorite drink or mix it in a smoothie.

We take pride in meeting the expectations of our customers and have no doubt that you will be impressed by the positive changes you notice in mind and body after regularly incorporating Soursop into your nutritional regime.

*As always, we make no claims to cure any disease. Please consult your doctor for medical treatment.
